A nice idea is to include the signature cocktail recipe as a party favor for the guests to take home and they can re-create your signature cocktail for their own events. Print cocktail recipe on cards, or print on paper, roll into a tube and tie with a ribbon. Have the "Signature Cocktail Recipe Favors" at the bar where guests pick up the drinks. You could even have Signature Cocktail glasses imprinted with a logo for guests to take away as a party favor.

Some suggestions for signature cocktail inspirations include
- the theme of your wedding
- the color scheme
- the season,
- the heritage of the bride or groom,
- a region or country,
- a particular type of alcoholic beverage or cocktail that the couple enjoy,
- a dessert or after dinner cocktail
From a practical standpoint signature cocktails can be a great alternative to having an open bar. It offers guests more than just a beer, wine or champagne option and saves the money, time and effort that goes into stocking and staffing a complete open bar.
French 75 Martini
At Chris and Jennifer's wedding at "The Abernathy Center" the staff had a booklet of cocktails that people could choose from for their signature cocktail. Photographs showed the type of glass and color of the cocktail. The recipe was included if you were looking for a particular type of alcohol or flavor. Chris and Jennifer selected "The Wonderful Drink" and it was wonderful!
